Mom vs. Wild

On July 7th, 2010 KAEL turned 4 MONTHS!

This picture was taken that night....after he got his shots :(
I thought he was pretty pleasant though!

At 4 months Kael:

Weighs: 15 lbs 9 0z.-66%
Height: 25.8 inches-81%
Head Circumference: 42 cm-43%

He is a different built baby than Peyton. At this stage Peyton was always in the 90th percentile. Kael is just a little guy compared to Peyton. Of course I saved all of Pey's clothes and it was almost too perfect that they were born in the same month of the year so I thought that Pey's clothes would fit Kael perfectly. Well not so much....Peyton was a chubbas and when he was 4 months, he was fitting in 6 month clothes. Kael can fit into the shirts because he is so tall...but the shorts are HUGE on him. He has a very skinny waist!

Kael is very strong. As soon as he wakes up from his nap he is DONE laying down. He tries to sit up...and of course he can't so all he ends up doing is stomach crunches. He loves to put things in his mouth. I think that his teeth are already starting to bother him. He is very drooley and loves to chew on things...including my finger. Here we go...teething is NO fun! Kael also loves to smile. Whenever he wakes up...the first thing that he does is give a great big smile. He is so sweet. He loves to sit back and watch everything that is going on around him...including his brother! He HATES riding in the car. Where ever we go he cries as soon as you get him in the car. We even bought him a nice BIG carseat for him to ride in...and he still hates it! He has a cry that sounds just like a bobcat. He doesn't cry very often...but when he is in the car he is real mad...then he sounds like a bobcat. It is a little freaky to tell you the truth! :) He also doesn't like to be alone. If he thinks that he is alone...he starts to cry. He is the WORST sleeper. He wiggles all night in his sleep....just like his brother! But the flip-side of being a bad sleeper is he loves to cuddle! He wants to be held as he is sleeping...I LOVE that!!

We are so grateful that we have Kael in our lives and a part of our family!
