While my parents were in town we decided to take them to dinner at Pappas Barbecue. It is really good! On Saturday nights they have all you can eat ribs! So you know Bryan was ALL over that!

Bryan enjoying his ribs. I am sure that he really
LOVED me taking a picture of him! He ended up only eating one plate of ribs because they were so huge!
Weak.

Now Corey on the other hand, he ate like a
champ!
He was able to finish two plates!

My Mom, Dad, and I shared a meat plate. It was a ton of food! We had so much left over! They have really good macaroni and
cheese and coleslaw....and ribs!
Kael REALLY wanted some ribs...but we gave him some Texas Toast, which seemed to suffice.

Peyton was mad at Grandpa because he told him that he couldn't sit in the window, it was "too dangerous." Of course, it was followed up with a "I don't like you Grandpa!" Peyton always tells you he doesn't like you if you tell him that he can't do something!
So we are enjoying our dinner, Peyton is actually being pretty good in the restaurant, which is nice for a change. I then look out the window and see a fire engine outside of the restaurant. I am thinking "Oh my word, is this going to be like our Chick-
Fil-A experience?" Bryan thought they were just coming to get dinner. With there lights on? Maybe they were hungry and wanted to get here fast. No. As we were wondering why the fireman could possibly be at the restaurant with their lights on, one started walking toward me. They weren't very alarmed so I knew that there wasn't a fire. He made eye contact with me and then looked behind my head. So naturally I turn around to see what he is looking at, and this is what I saw.....

The little white lever had been pulled. I gasped, "Did he pull the fire alarm?" Yup! Pretty sure that he did! I looked at the fireman and then at my little Peyton and said "Did you pull that?" He looked up at me with his tear filled eyes and said, "Yeah." I apologized a million times to the firemen. Which one guy was pretty nice, the others gave us a look like control your child. Which first of all....who puts a fire alarm at a two year
old's eye level...literally! And....who doesn't have it covered!? Stupid restaurant. To be honest, I didn't feel bad one bit! I mean I kind of feel bad that the firemen had to get dressed and drive down there...but hey, it was all you can eat rib night!
I felt kind of stupid just sitting there, having no idea that my child had just pulled the fire alarm. The food is good but the restaurant was a little ghetto....the light on the fire alarm wasn't even flashing, it was broken. That makes me feel safe. The stupid alarm had probably been going off for
at least five minutes before the men in uniform arrived, and
NO ONE from the restaurant had come to check as to why the alarm was going off. We couldn't even hear it going off! I really am glad that there wasn't a real fire!
Anyways, I calmly told Peyton that we can't touch those! I looked at my Dad and he said "Lets get the hell out of here!" I laughed, and then promptly gathered our things and left.
Before we left I had to sneak a picture of the fire alarm. I mean, I had to document the first and
hopefully the
only delinquent act of Peyton's life!

We couldn't leave without a picture in front of this longhorn. Every time we go here Peyton has to waive to it! He
DID NOT want his picture taken...he was so scared of the firemen.

As we were leaving I had to sneak a pic of the fire truck as well!
All in all it has to go down in the books as yet another great experience at a restaurant with the Thompson family! Yikes, I don't know if I can keep up with all this action!
