Peyton has always loved dolphins! Naturally he was very excited to see the dolphins at Sea World. He also loves water so he was thrilled to be front and center watching the dolphins!
He just wanted a dolphin to come close so he could see it!!
The "animal whisperer" Jana, got the dolphin to come close!
Peyton was a little apprehensive about actually touching the dolphin.
Finally, he mustered up enough courage to actually touch the dolphin. He was so excited he turned and looked at me and said, "Mommy look, a dolphin! Touch him mommy!" As soon as he turned back around to look at the dolphin again, the dolphin had wound it's tail back and splashed Peyton right in the face!
Peyton was totally distraught! Originally, he thought Mark had splashed him. So what did Peyton do...turned around and started smacking Mark in the face! I was laughing so hard. We all got drenched! You can tell my camera got a little wet! Check out that frown! He eventually realized it was the dolphin that got him wet but was offering no apologies to Mark!
Still a little upset with his "so-called" friends...the dolphins.
STILL....very upset that he is wet! He hates getting wet when he is in his clothes. He cries if even a drop of water gets on his pants! I guess his dad was just like that when he was little!
Okay....so now they are friends...as long as there is a thick piece of glass between us. He forgives easily!
