Mamau and Grandpa Ron come to visit....

Grandpa Ron and Mamau came to visit this past week. It's a long story so I will make it short....we put our Jeep up for sale and Bryan's mom (aka Mamau) wanted to buy it. So Bryan's mom and dad flew down so they could drive it back to Utah.

They arrived Friday afternoon and by late Friday afternoon the spoiling had begun! :)
We went to Walmart and of course we couldn't leave with out a pool, pool pump, goggles, and a sandbox. A sandbox isn't very much fun without any sand...so we had to stop by Home Depot and get some sand...and two new patio chairs. Thanks Grandpa Ron!
Mamau had to rip out two rose bushes and some pavers to make room for our new backyard addition. {i hope that the landlords don't know about the blog. i don't know how they would feel about the rose bushes. lets be honest, they are men...they don't care about blogs...or rose bushes.} :)

Peyton LOVED the pool...Kael not so much.
Perhaps it was the fact that Peyton was in the pool.

We also went to the JFK Memorial Museum.

It went about as good as you would think a 3 year old and a 15 month would do in a museum. I felt bad for Grandpa Ron.

We also went to the Fort Worth Stockyards.
The petting zoo was free this time
{how nice of them. }

Peyton has a LOVE for goats. I am not really sure where this came from. He always tells people that he is going to get a goat for his backyard. I assure you....he is not.

Kael LOVES animals....from a distance. It is so funny, he gets so excited and starts waving his hands and arms....and then he gets so freaked out when they are close!

Grandpa Ron bought a $6 dollar cup of Oats. {that's worse than tray of fish at SeaWorld}

Peyton liked feeding the goat from the cup...not so much his hand.

Kael got a little more comfortable with the animals. He started to throw straw at them.

And once again {for the 4th time} we watched the cows strut by.
Good times.

We had so much fun with Bryan's parents and you can bet the boys were smitten. Bryan's family is so sweet and supportive. We don't know what we would do without them!
